4. Wall-E – A scavenger hunt allowing the kids to find their way back to Earth with every item they find on their list is a great Wall-E party idea. The game of Simon says with robot voices would be another. Find enough junk for the kids to work on their own robot. This can be loads of fun for the Wall-E party.

5. Kung Fu Panda – If you know someone who is knowledgeable in the art of Kung Fu, see if they are available to come to the party and show the kids a few moves. If not, you may be able to hire someone for an hour for a nominal fee. Be inventive and think of games that could incorporate the use of chopsticks. Meet The Universal Hero – Samurai Jack

The Samurai Jack cartoons may quite easily be catalogued as “weird”. The dramatic accent is of a clear Asian origin, while the storyline and plot development are a blend of US and European cartoon styles. The Scotsman – a truly weird warrior, the Scotsman has a magical sword and a machine gun instead of his left leg. Although at first Samurai Jack and the Scotsman often crossed paths as opponents, they are now fighting on the same side of the barricade against Aku.

Demongo – summoned by Aku, Demongo is able to steal the power and essence of the universe’s greatest warriors. He uses this power to try and defeat Samurai Jack – our hero, however, knows how to use that same power in his advantage.

Are Dress Up Games A Good Choice For My Kid?

Do you think that the baby dolls with pink dresses and cute skull caps are the most desirable items that a little girl could want? No, that is so outdated or, to speak in fashion terms, “so 1995”. Nowadays, it seems that the most popular dolls are no longer made of plastic, they no longer have the baby doll outfits and their baby shoes. Nope. Nowadays, dolls are not even real anymore, they are virtual. Virtual dolls won’t be a surprise to you, in case you are familiar with the popular dress-up games that can be found on a wide range of websites. Wait: virtual dolls that can be dressed as the player pleases? Yes, exactly. Well, these dress-up games might not be such bad things – after all, it seems quite affordable to “own” and play with a virtual doll – oh wait, it is actually free.

So, what do we need in order to have fun with these games? Well, we obviously need a computer, the one and only Internet, a few clicks and lots of imagination! Think about it: these clothes need no washing, no ironing, no folding, no maintenance at all, we simply select them and place them on the doll’s figure. And no, we don’t need to get annoyed trying to slide those tiny buttons into their even tinier button holes. What a relief!

If you are a mom or a dad and your kid is playing with these virtual dolls and dress-up games, you might ask yourself: Are these games any good for my kid? Can he/she learn something from them? You will be surprised that yes, your kid might actually learn something. For sure, not advanced mathematics, spelling or history, but kids and teens can actually improve their aesthetic sense and their artistic abilities – after all, mixing forms, colors and shapes (as in clothes) together can be quite an artistic hobby. Such as painting. Such as drawing or such as coloring and the list can go on. Don’t be surprised if your little one comes tom you and informs you that he/she desires to be a stylist or a fashion designer, after a few rounds with these dress-up games.

And, above all, dress-up games stir the imagination and creativity. Sure, at a first glance, these games – that seem to simulate the games of 5 year old girls with their plastic dolls – might seem superficial: after all, it is all about clothes with spangles and glitter, high heeled boots, jeans miniskirts, red wigs and oversized earrings. You might tend to think that all these trendy elements do not actually construct role models for your kid. But think about it this way: would you rather see your kid play one of those shooting, killing and butchering games? Monsters, guns and blood versus pretty clothes and trendy accessories – you decide. The dress-up games must seem really harmless, if analyzed from this perspective. OK, we couldn’t go that far and call these games quite educational, but hey, they are a preferable and creative choice.

Crime, vice, corruption and drug dealing are all now in the palm of your hand. The new Grand Theft Auto hits on the unlikelist of gaming consoles, the Nintendo DSi, which is normally associated with the endless Pokemon, Mario and Megaman games.

Yet despite the small form factor and the low graphic capabilities, Chinatown Wars is nothing short of stunning and even better in some respects than its big brothers.

In the game, you play as Huang Lee, who’s coming back home to liberty City from China to deliver his family sword “Yu-Jian”to his uncle. Complications occur when our protagonist is robbed on his way and left for dead, when he vows to find the sword and punish the perpetrators. Of course, this sends you arounf Liberty City, doing odd jobs, killing, stealing, driving etc. And along the way, you get to meet some of the quirkiest characters from a wannabe street racer Chan to the drug addict undercover cop Wade.

If you aren’t familiar with Grand Theft Auto series, they are one of the most popular sandbox style games developed by Rockstar. Sandbox games allow you to go anywhere, do anything, drive everywhere and shoot anything.Chinatown wars takes the legacy of the Grand Theft Auto series and pushes it up several notches. Played from a top down perspective, you see the action from a bird’s eye view, which takes some time getting used to.

As the name suggests, a majority of the game involves driving around town. The fun part is that if you jack a car, there’s a lot of fun mini-games that come with it. For example, whenyou remove a toolkit from your pocket, you whip out the DS stylus and join wires, or hack the computers of the most advanced cars, or even Jimmy the keyhole. Sometimes referred to as Josei (female).This genre is aimed from late teenage girls to adult, going beyond the idealized romance of Shojo, with a more realistic take on modern Japanese women’s relationships. I recommend: “Midnight Secretary”, “Gokusen” and “Honey and Clover”.

Seinen (young man) is the male counterpart of Redikomi/Josei. Genres are relatively the same as Shonen, except that they are darker and more somber. My recommendations: “Bastard!!”, “Berserk” ad “Basilisk”.

Shojo or Shoujo (literally “girl”) is a manga aimed at younger females up to the age 18. A focus on romance and relationships from a teenage girl point of view. Recommendations: “Ceres Celestial Legend”, “Fushigi Yuugi” and “Love Celeb”.

Shonen or Shounen (It translates literally as “boy”), the male counterpart of shojo, centering on adventure, action and Martial Arts genres. Manga recommendations: “Bleach”, “Naruto” and “Full Metal Alchemist”.

Yuri or Shojo-ai is based on female/female romantic relationships strong, graphically portrayed themes. Shojo-ai translates literally as “Girl-love”. Yuri translates literally as “Lily”. In Japan, the term GL (Girl Love) is also used. Recommended readings: “Strawberry Panic”, “Free Soul” and “Love My Life”.

Shonen-ai / Yaoi, the male equivalent of Shojo-ai/. Shonen-ai translates as “Boy-love” BL (Boy Love). Less graphic than Yuri. Recommended readings: “Count Cain – GodChild”, “Boys Next Door” and “Just Around the Corner”.

Hentai: this manga is sexually hardcore manga. Hentai is Japanese for “perverted” or “perversion” (adult content). Recommendations: “Step Up Love Story”, “Maid in Heaven” and “Sexy Magical Girl”.

The new console from Nintendo is Wii. Here are some of the pros and cons from some of the many Nintendo Wii previews. This article tackles the good and bad sides of the Nintendo Wii.
The Good:
Some of the Nintendo Wii previews state the good side of the console is its revolutionary controller design. It offers unique motion sensitive options. It is compatible with all Nintendo GameCube games. It also has a built in SD for storage for viewing photos, and most of all, the price is not that bad for a revolutionary game console.
Another Nintendo preview states that it can help non-gamers to stand up and try the game themselves. Some games lat you exercise as you play. It’s like you’re not playing a video game. It is very interactive. Playing games like Tennis, Baseball, Bowling, Golf, and Boxing.
The interaction between player and the game console is what makes the Nintendo Wii superior than other consoles. Many Nintendo Wii previews think highly of this game unit; the design, the innovative controllers which is called “the Wiimote” and most of all, the games. Most Nintendo Wii previews also stated that by downloading softwares, you can do a lot with the Wiimote, it can sound like a Jedi’s lightsaber just like star wars, and it can play notes and make it like a guitar.
There are games that can be incorporated into the Wii. You can connect the Nintendo DS into the Wii and play “Pokemon Battle Revolution”. This is the first game to allow connectivity between the two game consoles.
The Bad:
With every good side comes the bad side. Here are some of the bad side of Nintendo Wii Previews:  The Wiimote eats up battery life so fast that you have to change batteries often. It takes time to get used to the style of gameplay especially of you are a newbie to the gaming world. The package only comes with one Wiimote; you have to buy a separate one to play cooperative games.
It lacks HD graphics and surround sound unlike Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and Sony’s PS3. It requires a wired Bluetooth receiver to be placed somewhere in front of the TV screen to interface with the remote controller, and most of all, it won’t play CD’s and DVD’s.
On some Nintendo Wii previews, Nintendo stated that they did not allow the Wii to have DVD playback. This was to lower the cost of the game console. There are some reports

however that they are planning to release a version that plays DVD in Japan sometime soon. So you guys would have to wait and see.

Jay Leno Vs. Conan O’brien – Which Host Would You Watch?

The big battle going down on late night TV right now is Jay Leno vs Conan O’Brien. In 1992, Johnny Carson said goodbye to a faithful audience that had watched him for 30 years. Jay Leno hosted the Tonight Show
for only 17 years before handing the reins over to Conan O’Brien last may.

NBC and television and media in general are in a crisis. With the internet and free content giving people ACTUAL OBJECTIVE OPINIONS, big media can’t compete with their current business model. It seems an attempt to boost ratings to bring Jay Leno back.. Inevitably, this means either giving Conan O’Brien the boot or pushing him to a much less desired time slot.

Many are saying that Jay Leno is screwing over Conan O’Brien, and in this situation I’d have to agree. Jay left the tonight show to pursue a new original show on another network. Whether his ratings are down, he’s not getting paid enough, or his new show just doesn’t have the ring “The Tonight Show” has, Jay is trying to take back the pokemon card he fairly traded to Conan.

The debate rages on inside NBC and between Conan and Jay… but we want to know what you think! Who should host The Tonight Show, Jay Leno or Conan O’Brien? Which host would you rather watch?

Conan or Leno?

Jay Leno had this to say about the dilemma:

Jay Leno vs. Conan O’Brien which host would you watch? Conan or Leno?

The Pyramids were where the King & Queens children would be conceived & born. Also where Initiates would go through the rites of passage, being “Reborn” into a new consciousness, literally. The Pyramids were also the burial grounds for the Royal family. The most important Unions in Egypt transpired in the Pyramids.

The Hermetic phrase of, “As Above So Below” is a phrase used by everyone from Hermes to Newton. The double equilateral Triangle (a.k.a. Star of David by the Jewish sect) is the symbol of the Hermetic phrase, “As Above So Below.” One Pyramid pointing up and one pointing down. The number 6 = Physical Nature….so when someone tells you that 666 is the, “Mark of the Beast” you can do your own calculations. Three number sixes……. 3 (Spirit) + 6 (Physical Nature) = 9 (The Spirit of Physical Nature) i.e. selfishness, lust, greed, hate etc.. Our capitalist system (the one that just swallowed the world whole) was the Beast. Promoting this Illusion of greed, lust, hate AND THAT THIS IS GOOD FOR YOU etc.. Watch out for the Mark of the beast? The rest of the world not only took the Mark but they distributed it as well. Fought right beside it all the way and then asked “What just happened?” The Illusion is unwinding finally, and will continue to unwind until those that want to see through the Veil can. A higher consciousness or rebirth,”Born Again” means something different in todays world.

To draw the Male line was a vertical stick (l) and to draw the Female line was (-) put the two together and you have the cross (+) representing, again, Male + Female = Union…Of course, it could also mean Male (Spirit) + Female (Matter) = Life (as we know it on this plane of consciousness.)

When it comes to The Source, we believe that God is eternal, infinite and without ceasing of course. Suns burn out, implode, explode etc.. The only constant we can understand for The Source to exist without ceasing would be in Darkness without Motion. Motion is finite as well is light, a product of motion. Motion is within all matter on our material plan. From our chairs to our physical self. The ancients understood that our thoughts take motion. This was 4,000 years before the MRI.

To be admitted to Socrates’ school in 540 B.C. Greece, you not only had to know basic math, you also had to know the basics of Pythagorean geometry (only taught by Initiates at the time) with the understandings of their esoteric (secret knowledge) nature.
